If so, Chipton-Ross has two contract openings in Oklahoma City, OK for senior-level talent ready to elevate flight operations documentation and support solutions.

Impact You’ll Make

• Develop support analyses, provisioning recommendations, and spares solutions informed by engineering, R&M, and operational data.
• Define and recommend operations/maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to meet supportability objectives.
• Identify logistics support candidates and generate logistics support analysis records and reports (LSARs).
• Set spares provisioning recommendations, including replacement part selections and stocking levels for multiple customers under a single contract framework.
• Author, revise, and sustain technical data for the operation, test, inspection, and maintenance of aircraft systems/components.
• Assess fleet and aircraft reliability/availability to shape maintenance concepts for a specific airline customer and system specialty.
• Create and update military flight documentation: AFMs, Operating Manuals, Pilot Abbreviated Checklists, Operating Handbooks, Weapons Manuals, and Weight & Balance materials.
• Lead the lifecycle of multiple flight manuals, checklists, and crew procedures; conduct peer reviews and quality checks.
• Plan publications projects (scope, budget, baseline schedule) and coordinate with SMEs across engineering, flight test, pilot, and publications domains.
• Gather and validate engineering source data and specifications; interface directly with customers to ensure accuracy.

Must-Have Background

• 5+ years with Flight Series publications and forms (military/commercial derivative flight manuals).
• Flight or flight-training experience (pilot, flight engineer, or related).
• Demonstrated proficiency with military/commercial derivative flight series manuals.
• Skilled at reading complex drawings, specifications, and system descriptions.
• Comfort managing multiple efforts with varying requirements.
• Expertise with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Nice to Have

• Background as a pilot, radar navigator, flight engineer, or electronic warfare officer; flight crew experience.
• Arbortext Editor and SGML familiarity.
• Pilot’s license or military aviation experience.
• Knowledge of Mil-Specs and commercial standards.

Education & Work Equivalency

Bachelor’s degree plus ~6+ years; or Master’s plus ~4+ years; or ~10+ years of directly related experience.

Work Hours

Full-time, first shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
