This role involves testing REST APIs manually and through automation using tools like Postman and REST-Assured(JAVA). It requires validating API functionality, error handling, JSON structure, and performing integration testing across multiple services. The engineer will also be responsible for building API automation frameworks, writing assertions, validating backend data, and running tests through CI/CD pipelines.

Test interactions between multiple services, such as:

Validate end-to-end data flow, dependencies, and business rules.
Perform API chaining, using output of one API as input for another.
Identify issues in middleware, service orchestration, and data mapping.
Validate logs through Splunk / BigQuery / Kibana for integration flows
