Assistant Producer, Radiolab WNYC Studios New York City, New York Apply Description Radiolab, a pioneer of narrative nonfiction podcasting, is looking for an Assistant Producer to join our team. The Assistant Producer at Radiolab will support the show’s overall production logistics. We’re seeking an ambitious, deep-thinking, deep-feeling entry-level journalist who is obsessed with helping us put together the pieces that make great stories. This person will work closely with the Radiolab production team to facilitate the weekly delivery of episode releases across podcast, broadcast, and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be willing to work hard and pitch in on all aspects of the production process, no matter how small. The Assistant Producer, Radiolab supports shows’ broadcasts, reruns, and promotional operations. This producer supports weekly syndication production and delivery, produces fundraising promos and spots, assembles the weekly newsletter, and assists in rerun production. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented producer who enjoys both the creative and logistical sides of audio storytelling. Key ResponsibilitiesAdditional Information
This is a full-time non-exempt role with a minimum hourly rate of $37.63 ($68,492 annualized), plus a full benefits package. Rate offered is determined by skills, experience, and organizational pay equity. This role is based in New York City and is expected to work at our NYC Headquarters two days per week. The position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between New York Public Radio and SAG-AFTRA .
