We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a Avalon Villas in Irving, TX that is entering an exciting transition phase. This community is undergoing a transition phase and significant capital improvements and repositioning — and we need a strong operational partner to help lead the way.

This is more than a support role — it’s an opportunity to grow your leadership skills while playing a key role in a turnaround and lease-up strategy.

T he Opportunity

 As Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the Property Manager to support:

  • Major capital improvement and renovation initiatives
  • Operational turnaround efforts
  • Aggressive lease-up and occupancy growth strategies
  • Financial performance and resident satisfaction goals

You’ll be at the center of daily operations during a transformative period — helping to stabilize, strengthen, and elevate the community.

 Key Responsibilities

Operational & Financial Support

  • Assist with budgeting, reporting, rent collections, and delinquency management
  • Support expense control and revenue optimization efforts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations

Capital Improvement Coordination

  • Help coordinate vendor access and project scheduling
  • Communicate renovation updates to residents professionally and proactively
  • Support tracking of project timelines and unit readiness

Leasing & Lease-Up Execution

  • Support leasing initiatives and marketing outreach
  • Help drive traffic, conversions, and retention
  • Maintain accurate availability and inventory reporting

Resident Experience & Team Collaboration

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Address resident concerns promptly and professionally
  • Serve as a steady, solutions-focused presence during change

Qualifications

  • Multifamily property management experience required
  • Experience supporting capital improvement projects preferred
  • Exposure to turnaround or lease-up environments highly desirable
  • Strong financial and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment
