Who You Are:

As the Associate Manager, Responsible Sourcing, you will support our Accessories & Footwear teams in material production management and data analysis. You will collaborate closely with key internal teams and external partners to manage seasonal material orders, monitor production timelines, and maintain material production data history. This position is a great fit if you have a background in procurement, have advanced skills in Excel, enjoy data analysis, and bring experience working with leathers, fabrics, and synthetic materials. This position will also support the Senior Manager in the development and execution of the brand’s sustainable materials strategy for accessories and footwear.

What You’ll Do:

  • Track material production timeline and volume data per season for footwear and accessories.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve material delays or shortages with suppliers, factories, and cross-functional teams, escalating risks or delays to management when needed.
  • Consolidate raw material purchase orders by season and track delivery status.
  • Maintain accurate material production records, including reconciliations and supplier communications.
  • Maintain data accuracy across raw material testing, production supplier information, and key material attributes.
  • Use advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Query Function, etc.) to consolidate and analyze data for reporting.
  • Help analyze MK’s accessories and footwear raw material supply chain to identify risks and opportunities; calculate environmental impact data and cost savings resulting from material changes.
  • Support supplier engagement and data collection efforts related to MK’s Scope 3 emissions reporting for footwear and accessories.
  • Support the implementation of MK's strategy to design more sustainable and circular accessories and footwear products.
  • Engage with strategic multi-stakeholder initiatives and promote the adoption of industry tools and best practices where applicable.
  • Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Production, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in apparel, footwear, or accessories production preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Experience with PLM systems strongly preferred
  • Knowledge on materials and apparel certification schemes preferred
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Compensation Range: 

$55,000.00-$90,000.00
