Job Description

Salary: $175,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering
• Proficiency in developing distributed systems
• Advanced skills in Python programming
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Strong foundation in computer science principles
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system bottlenecks
• Capable of independently managing projects from inception to deployment
• Commitment to clean coding practices and technical debt management
• Exposure to Java is an advantage

• Design and create scalable backend services
• Construct and sustain distributed systems for production applications
• Engage in discussions regarding architecture and technical design
• Resolve intricate platform issues across various services and environments
• Collaborate with product, support, and customer teams to introduce new features
• Assess and implement new frameworks or technologies as needed
• Write secure code ready for production, adhering to industry standards
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and services
