The University of Arizona’s Athletics Department invites you to apply for the role of Behavioral Health Counselor III. The prime functions of this position are to provide clinical mental health services and develop programming that supports personal and identity development for student-athletes. This position will provide leadership and direction for the sports psychology division through a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities. This position is responsible for psychological evaluation and treatment, individual mental health counseling, case management, crisis intervention, preventative programming, and assisting with team and individual performance consultation. The role also provides brief consultation to administrative staff, coaching staff, and sports teams as needed on performance, clinical psychology, and wellness. The position reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director, Sport Psychology and Wellness, and/or the Head Team Physician.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and travel as needed. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses.
