Job Description
We believe in making life simple for our clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who moves with purpose to maintain our financial health. You won’t just be "crunching numbers"—you’ll be providing the financial clarity that allows our team to build better products for people. You will manage daily financial transactions, ensure our ledgers are pristine, and help us stay compliant as we grow.
salary: $20 - $20.01 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities - Maintain the Ledger: Record all day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Reconciliation: Conduct monthly bank, credit card, and inter-company reconciliations to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage vendor payments and client invoicing with a focus on efficiency and positive relationship management.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports for leadership.
- Payroll & Tax: Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and ensure all sales/payroll tax filings are submitted on time.
- Process Improvement: Identify ways to "make life simple" by automating manual entry or streamlining reporting workflows.
Required Skills & Experience - Experience: 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software: Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Compliance: Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Attributes: High level of discretion, a "people-first" communication style, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
