HEC Income Tax Preparation – Pennsylvania

Compensation: $22–$35 per hour (Approx. $45,000 – $72,000 annually based on experience and full-time hours)
HEC Income Tax Preparation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Pennsylvania. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who can manage financial records, support small business clients, and maintain accurate bookkeeping throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for clients and the company
Record daily transactions, expenses, and income
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
Assist with payroll processing and reporting
Work with tax preparers to ensure accurate financial data for tax filings
Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information
Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial records
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping experience preferred
Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software required
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Strong computer and data entry skills
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
Associate degree or certification in accounting/bookkeeping a plus
