Aerotek is hiring Box Truck Drivers!

Locations Covered: NYC • Long Island • Hamptons • Philadelphia • New Jersey

Schedule: Full‑time | Route‑based

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role

We’re hiring Box Truck Drivers to support high‑volume alcohol deliveries across multiple regions. Drivers are assigned routes based on daily availability and may service NYC, Long Island, the Hamptons, Philadelphia, or New Jersey. This is a physically demanding, fast‑paced delivery role involving non‑dock drop‑offs and frequent stops.

City routes typically include up to 40 stops per day and come with 1–2 helpers for loading and unloading. New Jersey routes average around 20 stops and require drivers to handle all loading and unloading independently.

What You’ll Do

• Operate an 18 ft box truck safely across assigned delivery regions.
• Deliver cases of alcohol to stores, restaurants, and hospitality clients.
• Load and unload cases weighing up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
• Work with helpers on NYC/Long Island/Hamptons routes; operate solo on NJ routes.
• Maintain delivery timelines and ensure accurate drop‑offs at each stop.
• Represent the company with a professional, customer‑focused demeanor.

What You Bring

• Experience driving a box truck in urban or suburban environments.
• Strong ability to lift, load, and unload product repeatedly.
• Comfort driving for extended periods and navigating dense city traffic.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe operation.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualities

• Experience in alcohol, beverage, or route‑based delivery.
• Strong communication skills when interacting with customers and helpers.
• Ability to adapt to changing routes and daily assignments.

Work Environment

Drivers work in a hands‑on, physically intensive setting, handling cases of alcohol and navigating frequent stops. Professionalism, safety awareness, and adherence to company standards are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
