Principle Job Function: This position will be responsible for providing groups and workshops to Round Rock, Georgetown and surrounding communities. Provides individual counseling, marital, and family counseling to the Georgetown community. Facilitate training for TBCH/HOPE staff when necessary. Review and discuss Informed Consent with potential HOPE clients. Responsible for intake paperwork, session notes, and Treatment Plan for counseling clients. Attends training to meet LPC or LMFT licensure requirements. Maintains a caseload of 20 individual and group hours. Provides referrals for clients that is out of the HOPE Program scope of service.
Education and Experience: Licensed to practice in the state of Texas as an LPC or LMFT. Liability Insurance. First Aid and CPR training. Reliable transportation. Approved criminal background report. Excellent problem solving, communication and decision-making skills. Knowledge of Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and trauma informed care.
