We are seeking highly skilled Data Engineers at multiple experience levels to join a growing technology team in Wilmington, DE. This role involves hands-on work designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and AWS . Ideal candidates will be passionate about data engineering, cloud technologies, and modern data architecture.
There are three openings for this position based on experience level:
Role 1: Lead Data Engineer 10+ years of experience (Pay rate: $80/hr W2)
Role 2: Senior Data Engineer 6 7+ years of experience (Pay rate: $70/hr W2)
Role 3: Mid-Level Data Engineer 4+ years of experience (Pay rate: $60/hr W2)
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python and PySpark .
Work with AWS cloud services to manage and optimize large-scale data processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and implement efficient solutions.
Develop and manage data models , ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.
Optimize data storage, transformation, and retrieval processes for performance and scalability.
Implement data governance, quality checks, and automation where appropriate.
Lead or mentor junior engineers (for senior/lead roles).
Strong hands-on experience with Python and PySpark .
Proven experience in AWS data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR).
Expertise in data pipeline design, ETL development , and data modeling .
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work fully onsite and participate in face-to-face interviews.
Experience with LLM (Large Language Models) or AI-related data workflows .
Familiarity with Azure OpenAI , Terraform , Apache Airflow , Cassandra , or Databricks .
Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and data orchestration tools.
Work onsite in a high-performing, collaborative data engineering environment.
