Director of Albany avoidance and Juvenile Justice
JOB DESCRIPTION
»
Confirm all annual compliance requirements for staff are met according to schedule, including training and performance evaluations.
»
Seek opportunities for new program development/funding for programs consonant with the agency mission, including writing proposals, developing scopes of services and budgets, etc.
»
Provide administrative oversight of the Albany County avoidance, Em-barc and PATH Programs, as well as other potential city, county and state contracts.
»
Supervise program managery staff to ensure the quality provision of services to clients and training of program staff.
»
Will take the lead on coordinating the Family First EBP of Family Check-Up and Everyday Parenting at NRFS in conjunction with the Family Check-Up Training Team and SATRI Director.
»
Collaborate with the Chief of Community Services and Parsons Senior Director in negotiations with city, county, state contractors, and other possible funders.
»
Participate in community groups covering preventive and juvenile justice services, as well as social justice and community safety needs.
»
Search/respond to new funding, design innovative programming, and develop contracts that are compatible with NRFS's long-term planning needs and mission.
»
Design data collection system and develop processes for continuing program evaluation procedures and results. Adopt methods that contribute to continuous quality improvement.
»
Develop contracts, write proposals, and develop and articulate program policies and procedures. Complete and submit required reports to the contracting body. Qualifications
