Our client is seeking a Director of Sustainability to spearhead our commitment to environmentally responsible practices in their operations. This role involves developing strategies and initiatives that align with our sustainability goals, enhancing both our corporate responsibility and reputation.

As the Director of Sustainability, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy

  • Engaging stakeholders to promote sustainable practices across the organization

  • Measuring and reporting on sustainability metrics and outcomes

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in sustainable practices

  • Staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes in sustainability

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or a related field

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sustainability or environmental management roles

  • Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, initiatives, and best practices

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to develop and execute sustainability programs

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and certifications in sustainability
