This Emergency Department Nurse Manager will support a collaborative medical staff under a stable leadership structure. The emergency department works beside imaging lab and inpatient services for rapid care. Quality programs follow evidence based standards and a strong safety culture.

Emergency Services Nurse Manager reports to the Chief Nursing Officer. The ER Nurse Manager leads charge nurses and staff RNs along with techs and unit coordinators. Key partners include hospitalists emergency physicians and leaders in quality finance and case management.

Emergency Services Nurse Manager oversees a fast paced emergency department that serves patients across the life span. The Emergency Nursing Manager guides a team that values calm focus and teamwork during peak volumes. Skilled physicians paramedics and support staff collaborate closely to elevate patient outcomes.

Emergency Services Nurse Manager assesses plans implements and evaluates patient care across the life span as the ED Nurse Manager advances clinical competencies. This role recruits develops and evaluates nursing staff and leads education and mentoring and serves on the Clinical Managers group and the Perinatal Committee. The Emergency Services Nurse Manager holds twenty four hour operational responsibility under the Chief Nursing Officer and also works one day shift and one night shift as a direct care RN within each six week schedule. This leader monitors the operating budget and addresses variances and produces an annual quality action plan while collaborating with hospitalists and emergency physicians to review plans of care and improve outcomes.
