The Emergency Services Nurse Manager holds twenty four hour operational responsibility under the Chief Nursing Officer and also works one day shift and one night shift as a direct care RN within each six week schedule. This leader monitors the operating budget and addresses variances and produces an annual quality action plan while collaborating with hospitalists and emergency physicians to review plans of care and improve outcomes.
