Job Description: Event and Marketing Manager

The Event and Marketing Manager assists the Sales Director with all details regarding event coordination and marketing plans for public and private events. This includes working with marketing, assisting with company branding, ordering products, working with clients, executing event setup, etc. The Event and Marketing Manager is the primary contact for private event clients through the event process. As with all positions at Kuipers Family Farm, there is also a seasonal staff management component to this job during the seasons when the farm is open to the public.

Event and Marketing Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Marketing work such as communication with marketing vendors, updating business webpages, and creating emails and social media posts.
  • Managing event calendar including private events, tours, and special public events.
  • Working with private events and tour clients during the sale and planning of event.
  • Executing the setup of events and coordinating vendors.
  • Executing day-of events, including management of event staff.
  • Overseeing consistent branding, including design of new signage, flyers, etc.
  • Assisting with supply ordering, purchasing, and inventory tracking.
  • Managing staff and operations during season, including training, solving issues, station start-up and close-down procedures, etc.

Position Details

Job Type:

  • Full-time, salary

Compensation:

  • $48,000-60,000

Off-Season Schedule:

  • 5 days/week, office hours

Work Environment

  • This position includes working in an office environment and outdoors. As we are a farm, outdoor work may include hot, humid, cold, or wet weather conditions.
  • Will be required to perform tasks related to event setup and operation, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
