About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a leading national retailer in the fashion and apparel industry to identify a Fashion Design Assistant . This is an entry-level to early-career opportunity supporting a fast-paced, trend-driven design team. The role blends in-office, hands-on support with digital and remote responsibilities, making it ideal for someone looking to build foundational experience in fashion design and product development. Job Description
In this role, you will provide organizational, creative, and operational support to the fashion design team throughout the design and presentation process.
In-Office Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain the brand room and sample room
• Receive, hang, and organize product samples
• Assist with and facilitate model fittings and try-ons
• Capture photos of samples, fittings, and construction details as needed

Digital / Remote Responsibilities:

• Conduct trend research and gather design inspiration
• Upload, organize, and manage photos within digital workspaces
• Set up presentation layouts and visual materials
• Input information and creative assets into final presentation and program visuals

Qualifications
Required

• Entry-level to early-career experience in fashion design or a related field
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Comfortable following direction while efficiently managing assigned tasks

Preferred

• Familiarity with digital presentation and design tools such as Adobe, Google Slides, PowerPoint, or similar platforms
