Processing Operator – Good Sense Foods

New Hope, MN

**Schedule: **Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–11:30 PM (may include overtime)

Pay: $19.75 - $21.00/per hour (includes 2nd shift differential)

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our team to a 2nd Shift and seeking an Experienced Food Processing Operator with a minimum of 1 year of food processing experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment.

This is a very physical, hands‑on role — you’ll lift up to 50 lbs (often over the shoulder), mix ingredients, and follow detailed recipes and work orders. This position is ideal for candidates with fast‑paced food processing experience who want to grow into a technical, hands‑on food manufacturing career.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate industrial food processing and blending equipment (oil roasters, tumbler mixers, hot panning, enrobers, etc.)

• Accurately measure, weigh, and mix large ingredient batches using precise formulas

• Follow detailed production recipes and work orders

• Monitor product quality, temperature, consistency, and equipment performance

• Keep production lines running smoothly in a fast‑paced environment

• Sanitize and clean all processing equipment and tools

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow GMP, allergen, and food safety standards

• Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 50 lbs, climbing steps, and extended standing/walking

Minimum Requirements (Must Have Experience)

• Minimum 1-2 years of food processing in manufacturing experience required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform highly physical tasks

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when following recipes

• Dependable, positive, and team‑focused work ethic
