Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to assist in the daily operations of our furniture manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various stages of production, assembly, packaging, and shipment of furniture products while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly and construction of furniture pieces according to specifications.
• Load, unload, and move materials within the production area.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery used in the furniture production process.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality assurance.
• Assist in packaging and preparing products for shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
• Support other departments as needed in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [weight limit], typically around 50 lbs).
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
