Job Description

Pay: $19.25/hr
Location: Waterloo, IN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Work Environment: Outdoor yard
Type of Work: Pallet repair & yard operations

At Techo-Bloc , our yard laborers play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly. This entry-level position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team.

In this role, you’ll help maintain and repair pallets used throughout our yard and production operations. Your work ensures materials move efficiently and safely across the site while supporting our production and logistics teams.

What You’ll Do

• Follow all safety procedures and safe work practices at all times
• Inspect, sort, and repair wooden pallets to company quality standards
• Safely operate pneumatic nail guns and basic hand tools
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Perform physically active work, including lifting, bending, and moving materials
• Assist with yard organization and inventory processes
• Support production or yard operations as needed
• Operate a forklift when required (training may be provided)
• Work collaboratively with teammates to keep the yard clean, organized, and efficient

Qualifications

What We’re Looking Fo r

• Forklift experience is a plus
• Enjoys hands-on work and staying active throughout the day
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using power tools or nail guns is helpful
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Must be able to closely inspect and continually monitor all machines in the production process. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move throughout the facility. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to remain stationary; ascend and descend steps and ladders; and position self in tight spaces.
