Silvis Group, Inc., Inc headquartered at 250 Shultz Rd. Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666 phone number: +1 (724) 547-5268, is looking to fill seventy (60) Grounds Maintenance Specialist positions from 05/01/2026 to 12/15/2026. This is for full time, peakload temporary employment. Duties include: Worker will be required to perform a variety of landscaping tasks including but not limited to sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and raking. The worker will also perform maintenance work on the properties using hand or power tools equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, pruning shears, edger, shovel, leaf blower. Maintain garden and lawn. Install sprinkler irrigation systems and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. The worker may be required to demonstrate how to perform an assignment to other employees at a supervisor's request. Special requirements : Requires three (3) months of previous landscape experience. Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. Availability to work on weekends when needed. Employer-paid drug testing before commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, post-accident. Post-hire background checks and employment eligibility (e-Verify) checks are required for foreign and domestic workers.

The pay is $19.19 per hour with overtime available at $28.79 per hour. The work schedule is: 35 hours per week from Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 7:00am to 2:30pm. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 250 Shultz Rd. Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666 - Westermoreland County and 452 Walnut Hill Rd Uniontown, PA 15401 - Fayette County will service clients within the Pittsburgh, PA MSA, including the counties of, Allegheny, Armstrong, Bedford, Beaver, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Somerset, Washington, Westmoreland, Allegany, and Preston, Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio*.* Employer does provide transportation to and from all worksites.

Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is bi-weekly. Employer does not provide housing. Employer will assist workers in finding housing. The Employer will make all deductions required by law. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to change.
