Position: Healthcare Data Analyst

Location: Baltimore, MD #HYBRID

Duration: 9+ months #Contract to Hire

Rate: $60/hr

Job Description :

• The main purpose of a data analyst is to find meaning in data as a thought leader so that the derived knowledge can be used to make informed decisions and assist the organization in making better business decisions.
• Bachelor's Degree (Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or related field)
• 8 years' experience in an progressively responsible analytical/quantitative role.
• Client is looking for experienced Data Analyst with 8+ years of experience in the healthcare insurance technology sector, specifically with deep understanding of Healthcare Payers Domain, including Appeals and Grievances processes.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Facets for backend reporting and data retrieval, combined with knowledge of call center operations data flows.
• The role requires understanding how to navigate and extract data from both platforms.
• Proven experience analyzing call center operations data within a healthcare payer environment, including member services interactions, grievance tracking, and operational performance.
• Hands-on experience working with Big Data/NoSQL Platforms delivering production projects at scale, combined with advanced programming skills for data exploration across complex healthcare data ecosystems.
• Experience in healthcare industry (including Appeals and Grievances)
• Hands-on experience with Big Data/NoSQL Platforms with experience delivering production projects at scale.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders and leadership roles.
• Quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills., Expert
• Knowledge and understanding of analytical tools, languages, applications, platforms., Expert

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

25% Engages in data exploration using various programming languages (reading and writing code), requiring advanced knowledge of multiple database structures

15% Collect, analyze, and interpret data to glean insights, and develop business appropriate recommendations

15% Serve as an expert resource supporting data questions and issues from stakeholders and driving to resolution

15% Research and analyze data flow across complex data ecosystem including operational and analytical data platforms

10% Manage the collection of business and technical requirements from stakeholders to deliver data driven solution. Produces and reviews technical documentation that is consistent with professional standards.

10% Lead in the design, development, validation and delivery of data to provide insight into business decisions

10% Act as a mentor to all team members
