Pay Rate: $25.26 per hour
Location: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

Employment Requirement:

  • Candidates must successfully pass a TSA background screening to obtain airport badging.

Schedule:

  • Open availability preferred
  • 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Shift times may adjust based on operational needs.

We are seeking a Hospitality Barista & Kitchen Steward who takes pride in maintaining a polished lounge environment while supporting the culinary and beverage teams. This role is ideal for a service professional who values teamwork, organization, and attention to detail in a premium hospitality setting.

Working behind the scenes and in guest-facing areas, you will help ensure the lounge operates smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, supporting beverage service, and assisting the culinary team in delivering a seamless guest experience.

Your Impact:

As a Utility Associate supporting beverage and kitchen operations, you play an essential role in maintaining the high standards expected within the Korean Air Premium Lounge.

You will:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lounge environment for international travelers.
  • Support the beverage, culinary, and lounge service teams to ensure efficient operations.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with supply replenishment across guest and service areas.
  • Uphold Sodexo Live! and Korean Air standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and clean kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitary conditions.
  • Wash dishes, pots, and service equipment by hand or using commercial dish machines.
  • Polish silverware and maintain presentation standards for service items.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of floors and workspaces.
  • Remove trash and recycling to designated disposal areas.
  • Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and kitchen preparation areas.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage areas, pantry, and service stations.
  • Assist beverage teams with basic beverage preparation support and service station organization.
  • Support culinary and lounge teams with operational tasks to maintain service flow.
  • Monitor and restock supplies in guest service areas as needed.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP policies.
  • Attend scheduled shifts reliably and maintain consistent attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on lounge operational needs.

The Professional We’re Seeking:

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, food service, facilities support, or service environments preferred.
  • Experience working in high-volume kitchens, lounges, hotels, or restaurants is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent attention to cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing operational needs.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining a premium hospitality environment.
