Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Product Management Intern you will gain exposure on how to maximize the value of a product resulting from work with internal and external development and engineering teams. The Product Management Intern will work with internal and airline/partner stakeholders, as well as other Product Managers to learn to define and prioritize features in the product backlog. The intern will work with the Product Line team on the overall backlog and vision definition and planning activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ideation efforts, technical development, and launches of innovative IFEC products and services 
  • Gather business and airline needs into product requirements efficiently 
  • Support in the creation of product briefs and specifications 
  • Assist in developing short-term and long-term product roadmaps 
  • Assist in usability studies, research and market analysis into platform requirements to enhance user satisfaction 
  • Summarize metrics that inform the success of products 
  • Provide administrative support as required to Product Managers 

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field 
  • 2+ years of relevant coursework
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills for gathering and summarizing requirements and metrics 
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and summarizing research findings 
  • Interest in product management, usability studies, and market analysis 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with project management or data visualization tools is a plus 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, and meet deadlines effectively 
  • Enthusiasm for learning about IFEC products and the product development lifecycle 

The compensation for this position will be $25.00-$26.00 per hour.
