Litigation Paralegal | Miami
A well-established plaintiff-side litigation firm in downtown Miami is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable billing time, and brings strong litigation support experience-ideally within the insurance space.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day litigation support in plaintiff-side matters, with a preference for insurance-related cases
- Manage e-filing in Florida state courts and assist with federal filings as needed
- Draft, organize, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
- Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and trial preparation materials
- Track billable time accurately and meet annual billing expectations
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members to keep cases moving efficiently
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally in plaintiff-side work
- Strong e-filing experience and familiarity with court procedures
- Prior exposure to insurance litigation (plaintiff side preferred)
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and support attorneys through all phases of litigation
- Strong job stability and professional work history
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a high-performance environment
