Job Description

Our client is a multi-specialty medical practice seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join their front desk team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a positive experience.

You'll greet patients, manage scheduling, handle check-ins and check-outs, and support the clinical team with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Verify insurance information and collect co-pays at check-in
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized
  • Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience in a medical office or customer service role
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma required; medical office certification a plus
