Are you someone who thrives in a professional, fast-paced healthcare environment where accuracy, discretion, and organization matter? We’re looking for a Medical Receptionist to support a busy hospice administration team.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls and triage calls for Home Health and Hospice department
• Provide compassionate, professional customer service to callers
• Open, distribute, and manage incoming mail and documentation
• Scan, index, and save Medicare and insurance documents to the correct locations within required timelines
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure documents are filed and stored correctly
• Support daily administrative operations and assist the team with organization and follow-through
What Your Work History Should Show
• Clerical, office, or administrative support experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting
• Experience working with confidential or sensitive information
• Strong phone etiquette with experience answering and transferring calls
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning systems such as Epic
• Ability to prioritize, exercise sound judgment, and work independently
• Professional presence, strong follow-through, and organizational skills
Additional Details
Location: Tacoma, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Range: $24–$30 per hour
Assignment: Temporary Contract 6–8 weeks
Compliance: Must be able to pass a criminal background check
