Job Title: Wooden Pallet Builder Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Wooden Pallet Builder to join our production team. This role involves building high volumes of wooden pallets using mechanical and power tools in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Operate mechanical and power tools such as nail guns, saws, and pneumatic equipment to assemble wooden pallets.
  • Measure, cut, and position lumber according to specifications and production standards.
  • Inspect finished pallets for structural quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Meet daily and weekly production quotas while adhering to quality guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to maintain workflow and resolve production challenges.
  • Follow all safety policies, including proper PPE use and safe tool operation procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or heavy manufacturing assembly.
  • Ability to safely operate mechanical and power tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive movement, standing for long periods).
  • Strong teamwork skills and a consistently positive attitude.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in high-volume builds.
  • Mechanical assembly of pallets.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
