Miami-Based Family Seeking Part-Time Nanny / Housekeeper

Position Overview
A private family in Miami is seeking a warm, responsible, and proactive Part-Time Nanny / Housekeeper to support their household and care for their two children. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and flexible, with a genuine love for working with children and a willingness to assist with light housekeeping tasks when childcare responsibilities are lighter. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining a tidy environment and supporting a busy family in a collaborative household with additional staff.

Position Details

• Location: Miami, Florida
• Schedule:
  • Weekdays: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM, 3 days per week
  • Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Children: Two children (ages 9 and 5)
• Pets: None
• Other Staff: Full-time live-in housekeeper
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience; $35 to $40 per hour
• Start Date: ASAP

This busy Miami-based family is seeking a caring and dependable professional to help care for their two school-aged children during afternoons and weekends. The household already employs a full-time live-in housekeeper, so the housekeeping responsibilities in this role will primarily involve light support related to the children and occasional household organization when childcare duties are minimal.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and engaging care for two children (ages 9 and 5)
• School pick-ups and transportation to activities (if needed)
• Plan age-appropriate activities, playtime, and outings
• Assist with homework and after-school routines
• Prepare simple meals or snacks for the children
• Maintain organization of children’s spaces, toys, and belongings
• Children’s laundry and light housekeeping related to the children
• Assist with light household tasks or organization when childcare duties are lighter (especially during weekends when the family may be out)
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment

Requirements

• Prior experience as a nanny or nanny/housekeeper in a private home

• Ability to commit to the weekend schedule
