The Dog Stop® is looking for a Professional Dog Trainer. In this role, you'll train dogs of all ages and breeds, craft personalized training plans, and deliver outstanding customer service to pet owners.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead group classes and private lessons.
Train and engage daycare dogs during play & structured activities.
Deliver board & train programs with customized plans.
Recommend additional services to existing and new clients.
Generate leads while building relationships with our loyal client base.
Document progress and communicate milestones with owners.
Requirements:
2+ years professional dog training experience.
Knowledge of dog behavior, operant/classical conditioning, and enrichment-based techniques.
CCPDT certification (or willingness to obtain).
Fear Free® certification (or willingness to obtain).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physically able to handle dogs up to 60 lbs.
