Job Description

A top, private residential home builder is looking to hire a Residential Homebuilding Purchasing Manager. They offer great compensation along with full benefits and profit sharing. This Purchasing Manager position requires a minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Residential Homebuilding Purchasing Manager.

Purchasing Manager Core Responsibilities Include:

Review budgets for errors and correct as necessary
Add site specific resources and quantities into estimates to customize standard plans for use on specific lots.
Confirm that all options and selections have been included on the purchase orders
Release purchase orders and schedules
Help create option prices
Support Construction staff during construction of homes
Control costs by carefully reviewing all starts to avoid "extras"
Generate monthly base home budget reports
Lead weekly team meetings
