Quality Manager | Otsego, MI

Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee all quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Manage supplier quality, including audits and performance monitoring.
• Facilitate internal and external quality audits and manage audit findings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, 8D).
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities, including developing and mentoring staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience implementing or maintaining multiple quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100)
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification for relevant ISO standards
