Job Title: RN – Clinical Nurse Educator (ED / ICU)

Location: New York, NY

Type: On-site | Contract

Local Rate: $2,962.5/week

Travel Rate: $3,661/week

Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Monday – Friday

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Nurse Educator for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs, competencies, and clinical orientations for ED and ICU staff
• Lead onboarding, transition-to-practice programs, and mentorship for new hires and new graduates
• Serve as a clinical resource promoting evidence-based practice and advanced critical care protocols
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and Department of Health standards through accurate education documentation
• Partner with nursing leadership to identify knowledge gaps and implement targeted training interventions
• Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing Education (MSN-Ed) required
• Minimum 2 years of Clinical Nurse Educator experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Strong clinical background in ED and/or ICU nursing
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of New York
• BLS Certification required
• Strong presentation, instructional design, and communication skills required
