Renaissance Historic Exteriors is seeking Semi-Skilled Roofing Laborers to support our slate, tile, and steep-slope roofing crews. This role is ideal for individuals who already have roofing or construction experience and are ready to grow their skills in the historic restoration trade.

You’ll work alongside highly skilled craftsmen on some of the most unique roofing projects in the Midwest—learning specialized techniques while earning competitive pay and benefits.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist skilled roofers with slate, tile, cedar, and steep-slope roofing projects.
• Carry materials, stage tools, and maintain clean, safe job sites.
• Perform tear-offs, prep work, and basic installation tasks under supervision.
• Set up ladders, scaffolding, and fall-protection systems.
• Follow all safety protocols and jobsite procedures.
• Travel to job sites throughout the Midwest (travel required)

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in roofing or construction (1+ years preferred)
• Comfort working at heights and on steep-slope roofs.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel for regional projects.

• Competitive pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour.
