Job Description

Salary: $141,950 - 192,050 per year Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience as a Developer
• More than 3 years of experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and modern data ingestion tools (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
• Proficient in data warehousing and various cloud/on-premise platforms including Oracle, Teradata, Redshift, and AWS services
• Skilled in data processing using Python and PySpark
• Familiar with ETL/ELT methodologies, data integration techniques, and data modeling practices
• Experience with Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• Knowledgeable in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing of data pipelines
• Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Act as the Lead Data Programmer Analyst and technical lead for data platform projects
• Develop and nurture productive relationships with business stakeholders to enhance understanding of domain needs and align data solutions with strategic objectives
• Design and implement data ingestion strategies and processes to migrate and integrate on-premises data sources to cloud platforms
• Create and manage modern cloud-based ingestion frameworks and tools
• Establish and sustain comprehensive data architecture, lineage, and accompanying documentation
• Curate and structure data for business utilizations and self-service analytics
• Utilize cloud AI/ML services to enable advanced analytics and model deployment
• Analyze and document existing application architectures and data flows to establish a modernization roadmap
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models suited for engineering and manufacturing systems
• Guide the integration of various data sources, including IoT telemetry and ERP systems
• Supervise the end-to-end data integration processes, including ETL and ELT techniques
• Advocate for and implement modern platform practices, including infrastructure-as-code and metadata cataloging
• Automate processes for data access management, ingestion pipelines, testing, and deployment to enhance efficiency
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify data needs and provide actionable insights
• Mentor engineers on best practices to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable data engineering
