Salary: $58,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in design, preferably within a design firm or a high-end furniture retailer.
• A professional design portfolio is essential for application.
• Familiarity with Perigold supplier brands, materials, and custom programs is an advantage.
• Proven success in managing substantial projects for both luxury B2C and trade clients.
• Strong passion for design coupled with excellent customer service skills and a drive to surpass sales goals.
• Exceptional organizational, self-management, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Technical proficiency to adapt to necessary software; familiarity with Google Suites and/or Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Experience with CRMs/POS and design software (Salesforce, DesignFiles, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit) is desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative sales environment.
• Track record of succeeding in a fast-paced and adaptable setting.
• A degree or diploma in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A valid drivers license is required for in-home design visits.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Manage your portfolio comprehensively, nurturing enduring relationships with design clients and seeking new design opportunities in-store and within the community.
• Address the complex needs of our customers, handling large-scale luxury and trade projects and intricate custom product development.
• Utilize your knowledge in interior design and sales to guide customers through their design choices and purchases.
• Provide insights on fabrics and finishes, emphasizing characteristics such as performance, texture, and market trends using both digital and physical samples.
• Coordinate virtual, in-home, and in-store design appointments, including the preparation of design deliverables and product selection.
• Use sales data and design software to enhance store profitability and brand success (mood boards, space plans, 2D/3D room layouts).
• Prioritize customer interactions effectively while maintaining clear communication with leadership.
• Achieve or surpass sales and customer satisfaction benchmarks, along with other key performance indicators.
• Participate in operational activities in the store, such as displaying new products, managing floor sets, replenishment, and substitutions.
• Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance team operations continuously.
• Engage in a dynamic, high-energy environment where products, promotions, and processes can change rapidly.
