Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a similar discipline.
  • Advanced degree (such as a Masters) is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical writing or a related domain.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as STC or CPTC.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficient in help authoring tools like MadCap Flare or Adobe FrameMaker.
  • (Nice to have) Experience with Agile development processes and version control systems.
  • (Nice to have) Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with graphics design and multimedia development software.
Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality user manuals, guides, and documentation that support our products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing.
  • Establish and uphold documentation standards, style guides, and best practices.
  • Conduct research and interviews with subject matter experts to gather necessary information for documentation.
  • Review and revise documentation to ensure it is accurate, clear, and consistent.
  • Create and maintain documentation tailored for various audiences, including customers, employees, and partners.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices within technical writing.
