Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. This role requires an experienced professional who is adept at reading blueprints and welding stainless steel components. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Read and interpret job orders and production schedules.
• Assemble various bagging machines and wire them correctly.
• Assist in different areas throughout the plant as needed.
• Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) in good working condition.
• Adhere to industrial safety procedures and company safety standards.
• Identify and address missing welds to ensure product quality before painting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in TIG welding with a minimum of two years of experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform precision welding on stainless steel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

• Possess strong work ethic and professionalism.
• No certification required but preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• No high school diploma necessary.

This role is based in Dakota City, IA, at a facility that maintains excellent safety records. Although the work environment is not climate-controlled, it is heated. Welders typically work in their own cells with direction available as needed. The company provides steel-toed boots annually with a $200 allowance, as well as safety glasses and weld helmets.

This is a Contract position based out of Dakota City, IA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.00/hr.
