Laundry Attendant

Part-Time Saturday and Sunday 8am-4:30pm

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Personnel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective handling and processing of laundry items while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Laundry Personnel will work collaboratively with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient laundry operation.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold all laundry items according to established procedures and standards.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers.
- Inspect all items for damage or stains before and after cleaning; report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, ensuring equipment and workspaces are kept orderly and safe.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards, including proper use of chemicals and handling of laundry items.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking laundry supplies and notifying supervisors when stock is low.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including amounts processed and any special requests or issues encountered.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely laundry processing and meet departmental goals.
- Stay updated on best practices in laundry processing and maintenance.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a laundry facility or related field is a plus but not required.
- Understanding of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
