Job Description

A financially stable and growing company is seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor for a busy bay with 20 direct reports.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in supervision within a welding environment
* Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding techniques (hardwire, metal-core, flux-core, and sub-arc)
* Familiarity with large open table set-ups
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
* Ability to develop daily standard work and SOPs for manufacturing
* Proficient in reading blueprints
* Ability to schedule production activities and maintain inventory to enhance production and quality
* Skilled in conducting root cause analysis and implementing countermeasures using a structured problem-solving process
