LifeSpire of Virginia is seeking a Part Time Companion to support our Daleville Community, The Glebe! 25 - 30 hours per week, eligible for PTO We are looking for a compassionate companion to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients. Job Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older and be able to read, write and follow written and verbal directions. Prior experience in continuing care or senior facilities is desirable. Relevant skills include following instructions, customer service, multi-tasking, and effective written and oral communications. Job Summary: This position performs a variety of non-medical daily living services to residents in independent apartments and cottages. Companions work under the direction of the Clinic Nurse to include the primary role of attending to daily living services. Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
