Job Description

Summary

We are looking for a Dedicated and Passionate Child Care Teacher to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facilities. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.

Duties

Duties
-Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth
- Provide essential care and ensure the well-being of all children in the daycare
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Monitor and document children's progress and behavior
-Implement behavior management techniques when necessary

Requirements

Experience  
- Previous experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to provide quality toddler care
- Certification in early childhood education or related field is a plus

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or desire to obtain
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willing to obtain)
• Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures at low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
