Job Description

Job Summary

Are you passionate about making a lasting impact in the lives of foster youth? Do you believe every teen deserves a safe, consistent home where they can heal, grow, and prepare for adulthood?

Jonathan’s Path is launching a first-of-its-kind Path Homein Tennessee and is seeking dedicated House Parent(s)to serve as the heart of this transformative program. This role is more than a job—it is a professional, live-in caregiving position centered on stability, relationship, and long-term outcomes for teens in foster care.

Position Overview

House Parent(s) are professional, live-in caregivers responsible for creating and maintaining a stable, home-like environment for three teenage boys in foster care. The Path Home model prioritizes relational permanence, consistency, and readiness-based transitions rather than age-based exits.

This position may be filled by one (1) adult or two (2) adults. This is a 24/7/365 role, similar to parenting, with responsibilities that vary based on the needs of the youth and the Jonathan’s Path program.

  • If two adults are in the home, at least one adult must be a full-time Jonathan’s Path employee with no outside employment.
  • No other adult children may reside in the home.

Why Join Jonathan’s Path?

  • Unparalleled Support:24/7 wraparound organizational support, ongoing training, access to a licensed therapist partner, and proactive respite planning. Jonathan’s Path is led by former foster parents who have cared for teenagers in DCS custody for over seven years. We understand both the challenges and the deep rewards of this role and are committed to supporting you every step of the way.
  • Trailblazing Program:Be part of a groundbreaking housing model redefining foster care transitions in Tennessee
  • Life-Changing Impact:Support three teens as they build stability, skills, and confidence for adulthood
  • Values-Driven Culture:A diverse, inclusive organization committed to dignity, equity, and long-term outcomes
