The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Member Services Director to join our team.

The Member Services Director works with senior branch staff to implement member services strategies that focus on recruitment and retention of members.
Wage: $23.06 to $24.06 per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Location: Pearl Street Family YMCA, Tacoma, WA

- I have a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent knowledge and experience in communication, business, or related field that includes supervision, fiscal management, program development, staff, and volunteer development (preferred).

- I am excited to assist the staff leadership team in reaching annual campaign goals by recruiting campaigners, making personal asks, and supporting branch events
- Are willing and able to complete Child Abuse Prevention on the first day as well as other required online and on-person trainings as required.
- Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).
Essential Functions - Direct and organize member services team with a focus on member experience and retention.
- Coordinate and support program and membership enrollment and systems in support of member experience.
- Assist marketing efforts focused on internal/external marketing strategies and production of material to support member experience and retention.
- Track and utilize data to drive staffing schedule and experiential decisions.
- Distribute results, organize, and maintain reports.
- Supervise all aspects of membership accounting and processes including all transactions.
- Key liaison to Association Engagement Center.
