CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT: 1st,2nd and 3rd Shift,

We are looking for:

1. Someone with a “can do” attitude
2. Someone who enjoys caring for others
3. Someone with reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
4. Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
5. The ability to lift 50 lbs.
6. Able to stand for long periods of time
7. At least 18 years of age
8. High School Diploma or equivalent

CNA’s are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, CNA's participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a CNA can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perennial care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist in recording temperature, blood pressure, pulse respiration rates, food and fluid intake and output, as directed
4. Assist residents with meals and snacks
5. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
6. Housekeeping duties as necessary
