Shift Supervisor (Night Shift) – zTrip Las Vegas

Location: Las Vegas, NV  Company: zTrip – The Nation’s Largest Taxi Transportation Company  Schedule: Night Shift (Start time: 11:15 PM)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Night Shift Supervisor to oversee our night operations, ensuring maximum fleet readiness, driver coverage, and service quality.

Position Overview

The Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all nightly operations in the Las Vegas yard. This includes managing driver assignments, ensuring vehicle availability, conducting safety and key audits, maintaining accurate records, and preparing for the upcoming day shift. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Shift Supervisor:

Start of Shift Duties (11:15 PM – 12:15 AM):

• Collaborate with the Day Shift Supervisor for a thorough handoff and status update.
• Conduct a full yard inspection and set-up.
• Update spare vehicle lists, marking all spares currently on the road.
• Verify and dot all keys on the main board; list all keys on the ready board.
• Record all available medallions and update any carried over from the day shift.
• Ensure the spare key board is fully current.
• Prepare nightly dispatch sheets—marking all spares , ready vehicles , and units in service .

Ongoing Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Monitor open shifts and ensure all are filled appropriately.
• Recruit drivers willing to cover additional shifts or work on their days off.
• Log all call-offs in the Supervisor Report and ensure each open shift is re-assigned as needed.
• When reassigning drivers between shifts, update all records to reflect accurate placement.
• Document all incidents, accidents, or unusual activities in the Supervisor Report —no matter how minor.

End of Shift Duties:

• Conduct an evening yard check to confirm all medallions are accounted for.
• Verify that all scheduled cabs have departed the property as planned.
• Complete scheduling and post assignments for the upcoming day shift.
• Ensure all schedules are displayed in the glass case and updated on the company voicemail recording.

Qualifications of a Shift Supervisor:

• Previous supervisory or dispatch experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with accurate recordkeeping habits
• Basic computer and scheduling system proficiency
