Curated by our East Coast colleagues, come WITH us as we savour superb seafood and whisky, meet some very special wildlife, discover local history and, of course, gasp in awe at the spectacular Bicheno Beams light show. Plus of course, make some industry connections!

Events and experiences
This weekend is designed to be flexible, with each activity booked separately and accommodation self-sourced to suit your needs and budget.
Partners and families welcome but please note some activities have age restrictions.
Friday 21 July
Arrive at leisure, breathe the sea air and check into your accommodation.
5.40pm and 5.50pm. It’s time to meet some very cute locals, as they wander in from the sea, on a Bicheno Penguin Tour. Wear warm clothes, bring jacket and wear flat walking shoes. Cost $49.50 per person.
7.00pm. Next stop, the Bicheno Bowls & RSL Club for dinner with the land-based locals! Complimentary drink on arrival - all other food and beverages at your discretion. (Bring some gold coins for the lucky raffle draw!)
Saturday 22 July
The day starts with breakfast at Food and Brew or wherever takes your fancy. On your way to the first event, call into the Bicheno Blowhole for a spectacular photo opportunity (weather permitting).
11.00am- 2.00pm. meet WITH us at East Coast Natureworld for a devil of a time on a guided tour with our host Natalie Hill who will explain the significance of ecology and conservation and the work that Natureworld does. A light lunch follows the tour. Cost: $40 per person.
From here on the day revolves around the sea – the marine life that graces our palates and the sea air that imbues the whisky with unique qualities. Two sessions are available at both The Lobster Shack and Waubs Harbour Distillery. (These were highlights of the WITH Tas Bicheno Beams event last year).
3.00-4.00pm - Session 1 @ Waubs Harbour Distillery. Co-founder Bec Polmear, will take us on a tour of the distillery explaining the magical process that is whisky distilling and the vision and hard work that's gone into their journey so far. It's an amazing location, story and whisky. Cost: $52.50 per person which includes a taste of the wash and the new make spirit (showing the different stages of production), and three whisky tastings.
3.00-4.00pm - Session 1 @ The Lobster Shack. Hosted by Managing Director Sara Walkem and backdropped by impressive view over The Gulch, this is another intrinsically Bicheno experience. Sip on wine, taste fresh oysters and hear the salty tale of how Sara and her husband Marcus developed their vision to expand their Southern Rock Lobster business. Cost: $35 per person which includes one glass of wine or bubbles plus oysters and canapés.
4.00-5.00pm - Session 2 @ Waubs Harbour Distillery. As above

Now with your insides warmed by whisky and good company, rug up warmly with jacket, beanie, gloves and boots/flat shoes for a spectacular evening of lights, action, paella and live music! Bring a torch (chairs optional) and head to the Bicheno Lion's Park.
5.35pm Bicheno Beams (free event). If you're fascinated by the technology, get a special peek inside the laser pods.

6.00pm sharp. Light fills the night sky and music floats across the sea air with not just one but two spectacular Bicheno Beams shows - a special treat for WITH and the last night of Beams. Photos are great but there's nothing quite like seeing, hearing and feeling the show in a crowd of upturned faces.
7.00-9.00pm. You’re invited to the Bicheno Beams Supreme Finale Feast to dine on Spanish inspired paella, sip on spiced winter sangria and join in the festivities! The paella is presented by Lynne from Little Beach Co Glamping Retreat who trained with a former paella world champion. Cost: $50 per person includes paella and spiced wine. (Other beverages available for purchase)
7.00pm. Or you can dine locally at your leisure - it's up to you! If you head to the Beachfront for dinner (bookings highly recommended), stay on for Jive in July with legendary local band The Pretty Things playing from 9pm.
Sunday 23 July
Enjoy an early morning cuppa at a local cafe and/or enjoy a stroll along the beach or foreshore track, wander or walk to Whalers Lookout for magnificent views over Bicheno.
8.30-9.30am. Enjoy a delicious breakfast box from Pop Up Picnic Tasmania Cost: $15.00 per person. (Hot drinks available at Blue Edge Bakery at own cost.)
9.30-11.15am Join a History Walk led buy a local volunteer and hear tales from Bicheno's rich past. (Walk also includes a visit to Calm Ocean Jewellery Shop... because we can!) Cost: $5.00
12.00-1.30pm. Lunch at Devil’s Corner to finish a fine culinary experience looking over the sleeping vines to the always spectacular Hazards. Cost: at own discretion
This weekend is all about doing what we all do so well – connecting with each other to share experiences and discuss issues - then heading home with a satisfied appetite, enriched spirit and new friends!
